The Girl Behind The Porridge

Welcome to Running on Porridge! I’m Miranda and I’m a teacher, who loves eating and running (sometimes!)

I first started blogging when I was doing my undergraduate degree when I had just switched from track running to road running, and wanted somewhere to document my training and everything I was eating to fuel it.

​

Since I started this blog, I have completed my university degree, trained to be a teacher, and stopped running. Over the years, I have fallen in and out of love with running, but recently, I have picked it back up again as a way to support my own mental health.

​

My goal is to share my life with you; my account of getting back into running, how to balance fitness with work life, and to share some yummy recipes along the way, because if there's one thing I love doing, it's eating!
